About
I've worked in software for more than ten years, in India and now in Australia. I've been a developer, a test analyst, an automation engineer, and a QA lead. I'm based in Brisbane.
What I've handled
Across those roles I've owned test strategy and planning, built automation frameworks from scratch, run API testing inside CI/CD pipelines, and led UAT with business stakeholders. I've been the only QA on Queensland and NSW government projects, where that meant deciding what "ready to release" actually meant, and standing behind it.

What I build
Testing taught me what breaks. Building my own products is where I find out whether I can avoid it.
markAtt is the first — an attendance and homework app for a community Sunday school in Brisbane, replacing a Google Sheets workflow. Real users, real data, and all the decisions that come with that.
I write as well as build. My first children's activity book is on Amazon, three more in the series are in progress, and I'm slowly working towards something longer.
How I work
I like understanding why something works, not just that it does. I ask questions early rather than guessing, and I'd rather raise a problem while it's cheap to fix. Most of the useful work I've done came from talking to the people who'd actually use the thing.
That curiosity is probably what connects the parts. In testing, the interesting bugs are the ones nobody thought to look for. In writing for children, you can't hide behind complicated words. Both reward the same habit.
